Cardiology Associates of Morristown is proud to announce that Dr. Christopher Song will be joining our practice in July 2024.

Chris grew up in Michigan and com­pleted his undergraduate studies at Cornell University where he majored in biolo­gy and minored in business. He graduated with distinction in Biology and played on the tennis team.

Dr. Song attended University of Michigan Medical School on a full scholarship and completed his internal medicine residency at New York Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center. He then completed his cardiovascular disease fellowship at the Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. During fellowship, he focused on echocar­diography, nuclear cardiology, coronary CT, lipidology and critical care patient management. During his clinical training, he authored trial updates in the presti­gious textbook “Hurst’s the Heart ” and published research in coronary disease and mitral valve disease in major cardiology journals.

Dr. Song has a special interest in preventive cardiology, lipoprotein disorders and valvular heart disease. He is dedicated to understanding each patient’s issues while providing high-quality and compassionate care. He is joining Drs. Blum, Freilich, Cosmi, Mandel, Salamon, and Forgione. Dr. Song will be available to see patients in our Morristown office and at Morristown Medical Center.
